Mauritius School Netball Festival

2012 School tour netball festival a huge success

From Mauritius - The first netball tournament in Mauritius is a huge success. The teams had a good time and the interaction with the Mauritian children is really special. 40 Mauritian teachers are being coached in netball. There will be 20 SA teams in 2013. Well done, Michael and the Travel and Sport team.

Team entries

A team entry consists of 9 players and 2 coaches.
There are 8 teams per age group.

Develop your skills

We are taking a team of well known professional South African netball specialists who will provide coaching on an international level covering everything from fitness and conditioning to netball skills and moves.
Teams will partake in court sessions as well as beach sessions that will be done in the morning and afternoon.

To show our gratitude to the people of Mauritius for hosting us, we want to give something back.
Netball is an unknown sport in Mauritius and there aren’t many opportunities for girls in any type of sport.
During our stay, you will have the opportunity to teach netball to girls from local schools. Travel and Sport will also be donating equipment to these schools to help develop netball as an active sport in Mauritius.
