Use one of the long weekends outside the school tour holiday period to plan your school tour.
The benefits are that flights will not be so full, you will probably not miss any tournaments and your year program will be least disrupted.
A good school tour period will be to fly out on 26 April 2012 and return on 1 May 2012 (4 nights), or to take 3 days off school and come back Sunday 6 May (10 nights).
Good tour program for 4 days will be Mauritius for the Travel and Sport Netball tournament (details to be announced) or rugby.
For a 10 day tour the world is your oyster. School rugby tours or hockey tours to Argentina can be good, or maybe a school tourism tour to Thailand. Other good school tours can be an art tour to Paris, an academic tour or history school tour to Greece and Turkey or an educational school tour to Eastern Europe.
