- Athens: Full day guided tour, The Acropolis Site, The Acropolis Museum, Constitution Square, Presidential Palace, Hadrian’s Arch, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Marble Panathenaic Stadium
- Santorini: Akrotiri Ruins, Fira Tour, Cable Car
- Mykonos: Half day tour, Chora neighbourhood, Panagia Paraportiani, Windmills
Day 1: Depart Johannesburg for Athens
Day 2: On arrival in Athens you will be met by a Travel and Sport representative who will show you to your bus for your transfer to your hotel accommodation. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure, an opportunity for you to relax after your flight and explore your surroundings at leisure.
Day 3: After breakfast, depart on a full day guided tour of Athens! Driving through the Constitution square, the Parliament, the main Neoclassical buildings of Athens, the Presidential Palace, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus (the biggest temple of the ancient times) and the marble Panathenaic Stadium. Thereafter you arrive at the Acropolis! (visit of the site and the museum included)
Day 4: Enjoy breakfast. Depart on a full day guided tour of Delphi and the charming town of Arachova! Visit Delphi – one of the most important archeological sites in Greek history! Traveling with an expert guide, you’ll explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town, home to the Temple of Apollo, and stroll around Delphi Archeological Museum. Learn all about Greek mythology and history while seeing fascinating monuments, and visit the pretty town of Arachova on the journey back to Athens.
Day 5: Breakfast at your accommodation and then transfer to the port for your ferry to Mykonos! On arrival in Mykonos, you will be transferred to your accommodation. Thereafter enjoy a half day tour! Some of the highlights will be: Chora neighbourhood, Panagia Paraportiani and the famous windmills.
Day 6: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy some leisure time this morning for exploring and shopping at your own pace. Around midday make your way to the port for your ferry to the beautiful island of Santorini! On arrival later this afternoon, you will transfer to your accommodation and settle in. This evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 7: Breakfast at your accommodation. Afterwards, transfer to Akrotiri for a half day tour of the excavations! In the afternoon you will transfer to Fira. Here you will have a tour of the town including the old port and a cable car ride up the cliffs.
Day 8: Breakfast at your accommodation. Today is yours on the island of Santorini to enjoy as you choose. Later this afternoon transfer to the port for your ferry back to Athens. On arrival in Athens late this evening, transfer from port to your accommodation.
Day 9: After breakfast you will have some leisure time before you transfer to the airport later this afternoon for your flight back to South Africa.
Day 10: Arrive back in South Africa after an awesome tour to Greece.
