Day 1: Overnight flight to Cairo.
Day 2: Morning arrival at Cairo airport. At the airport you will be met by a local representative who will assist with all the airport formalities. From here, embark on a tour of Cairo! Your tour will include a visit to the Egyptian Museum with many exhibits such as the Tutankhamen collection. After lunch, enjoy a visit to the papyrus museum to learn how ancient Egyptians made the first paper in history. Later this evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or your hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast at hotel. This morning you will have your 1st match on tour followed by lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, enjoy a visit to one of the great world wonders, the Giza Pyramids as well as the Valley Temple and the famous Sphinx. Afterwards stop at a local shop for some water and snacks. Later this afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Perfumery Palace and the Cotton Place. Dinner at a local restaurant or hotel.
Day 4: Breakfast at hotel. Today, you will have your 2nd match on tour followed by post-match hospitality and lunch with your hosts. Afterwards transfer to Old Cairo for a visit. Then into the citadel, which is the biggest fortress in middle east, built in 1167 by Salah El Dein for military purposes. Hotel check out and transfer to Giza rail station for overnight in the sleeper train to Aswan.
Day 5: Breakfast onboard the train. Start off your day with a visit to High Dam followed by visits to the Temple of Phale. Afterwards, board a vessel for your Nile Cruise. Enjoy lunch onboard. Enjoy the remainder of your day cruising by Elephantine Island to the Botanical Gardens on general Kitchener Island. This evening, enjoy a walk around this quint city with its market street filled with aromas of peanuts and spices! Dinner at a local restaurant or onboard the vessel.
Day 6: Breakfast at leisure onboard. Enjoy a relaxed morning onboard. After lunch, set sail down to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival in Kom Ombo you will be met by a local guide who will show you the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Thereafter, continue with your trip to Edfu where you will visit the Temple Horus. Continue sailing to Luxor.
Day 7: Breakfast onboard. This morning enjoy a visit to the King’s Valley, the Temple of Hatsheput and the Colossi of the Memnon. After lunch onboard, visit the East Bank Luxor Temple originally joined to the Karnak Temple by an avenue of Sphinxes. Thereafter, enjoy dinner and night onboard.
Day 8: After breakfast you will disembark and board a private coach for a transfer to Hurghada. Upon arrival this evening, check in at your hotel. Dinner will be at your hotel.
Day 9: Today you will have an entire day at leisure to explore the elegant city of Hurghada. (All 3 meals are provided for at your hotel)
Day 10: Breakfast and lunch at your hotel. This morning, enjoy a bit of leisure time. Around noon, board your coach and travel back to Cairo.
Day 11: Breakfast at your hotel. This morning you will have your 3rd and final match on tour followed by lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, enjoy a visit in the citadel where you will the opportunity for some last minute shopping during the Khan El Khalili bazaar. Later this afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
Day 12: Safe arrival in South Africa.
