Day 1: South Africa – Athens Depart South Africa for Athens
Day 2: Athens On arrival in Athens you will be met by a Travel and Sport representative who will show you to your bus for your transfer to your hotel accommodation. The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure.
Day 3: Athens After breakfast, morning training session. (1)
Depart on a guided tour of Athens! Driving through the Constitution square, the Parliament, the main Neoclassical buildings of Athens, the Presidential Palace, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus (the biggest temple of the ancient times) and the marble Panathenaic Stadium. Thereafter you arrive at the Acropolis! (visit of the site and the museum included).
Day 4: Athens, morning training (2) and afternoon matches (1st round)
Day 5: Athens – Cape Sounio – Athens Departure for a morning guided tour of Sounio! Today you will get the chance to admire the Temple of Poseidon as you visit Cape Sounio! Whilst on your day excursion you will also be visiting Lake of Vouliagmenis! Enjoy some swimming! Enjoy lunch whilst out on your tour!
Afternoon matches (2nd)
Day 6: Athens, morning training (3) and afternoon matches (3rd)
Day 7: Athens – Delphi – Arachova – Athens Depart on a full day guided tour of Delphi and the charming town of Arachova! Visit Delphi – one of the most important archaeological sites in Greek history! Traveling with an expert guide, you’ll explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town, home to the Temple of Apollo, and stroll around Delphi Archaeological Museum. Learn all about Greek mythology and history while seeing fascinating monuments, and visit the pretty town of Arachova on the journey back to Athens. Lunch during the tour.
Day 8: Athens, morning training (4) and afternoon matches (4th)
Day 9: Athens – Islands Cruise – Athens Breakfast. Enjoy a full day cruise of the Saronic islands! You will be island hopping to Hydra, Poros and Aegina! Enjoy lunch on board!
Day 10: Athens – Argolis – Athens Breakfast at your accommodation. Enjoy a full day guided tour of Argolis!
Enjoy lunch on tour!
Day 11: Athens – South Africa After breakfast you will have some leisure time before you transfer to the airport later this afternoon for your flight back to South Africa.
